After graduating from High School, I went to Ricks College now BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, ID. I took a two year break from school and served as a missionary for my church in Yekaterinburg Russia. Upon my return I finished up my undergraduate degree at BYU while participating in the ROTC program earning a commission in 2002. I was assigned to Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas, then Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada before moving into the Reserves and moving back to Grand Junction in 2007 and starting a career in real estate.
I completed masters level courses at CMU in finance, marketing, organizational management and behavior. In 2013 I earned my Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, and in 2017 I earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute.
